Smart Kids Tutoring & Learning Center served as one of the FIRST Approved Supplemental
Education Service Providers under the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB).
We have helped many districts launch the Supplementary
Educational Services since 2002. Our focus is to assist
students in achieving California’s academic content standards in English Language Arts
and mathematics while encouraging them to go beyond their potential.
We serve students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade
in two main areas: math and reading. Our services reach a variety of school districts
of different sizes and locations. In the 2004-05 school year alone we provided
supplementary educational services to thousands of students in more than 25 districts.
We have adopted a multi-channel approach in providing tutoring services to students at
different locations:
Smart Kids Tutoring Center- Our private learning facilities attract
numerous students and parents who prefer to come to our centers for tutoring due to the
convenient locations and flexible schedules.
Satellite Centers at school sites- Some school
districts allow us to use the school facilities to provide tutoring.We bring our tutors
and materials to the school sites and conduct the services there.
Students Homes/Parents Offices
- Due to scheduling and transportation difficulties, most students
prefer to have tutoring conducted in their own homes or parents' offices.
Public facilities- Local public libraries and community centers offer students a professional learning environment outside
of school.
All four options are available to our clients as we collaborate with local school
districts and parents in order to provide the highest quality of service based on individuals
circumstances.
